Tips of Arranging Window Gardens

Window Gardens

Many of the houses of the 80s have such windows whose structure is located outside the building, and their all-glass walls and roof provide the perfect conditions for growing flowers. It turns out that this trend is back and many of the new buildings also have such windows. Here are some tips of arranging such mini window gardens.

Do not overdo it with flowers

Put some potted plants and flowers, so to create a sense of abundance, but without overdoing it because it will cause the opposite of the desired effect. Some people even prefer to put only one plant, which become the main focus. In this case it is better to choose a really spectacular orchid plant.

Use the same pots

Notice how the clay pots unite all plants in the window, although they are of different sizes. Depending on the style of the kitchen choose an appropriate pots.

Do not ignore the view from the window

If you have a nice view from the window, you probably do not want to close it with plants,  so it is better to place them in the corners.

Less is more

Do not feel obligated to fill every available spot on window. Several cookbooks, interesting vase or flower pot would do the job.

If you want to create a sense of space, place a few small items and leave the rest free space.
